A powerful reader for following, saving, and returning to the open web.
Currentfold follows the sites you choose, keeps the links you save from everywhere else, and remembers where you left off in both. Underneath, rules, labels and search do the heavy lifting so the reading itself stays quiet. Read in your browser or on your iPhone — the two stay in step.
Coming from another reader? Your subscriptions move with you — one import, right at sign-up.
Following
Sources you chose, in the order you chose.
Paste a site’s address and Currentfold finds its feed — RSS, Atom, JSON Feed, or a YouTube channel. Sources go into folders, OPML imports on the first screen, and your subscriptions export whenever you want them back.
When a feed only carries the first paragraph, Currentfold fetches the full article to read in place. Podcasts play right in the reader and remember where you paused. And when three of your sources carry the same story, you see it once.
Rules
Tell it once, and it’s handled.
A rule watches everything that arrives so you don’t have to: star what matters, label it, mute what doesn’t, or mark it read on sight. And when something important lands, Currentfold can tell you — in its inbox, as a push notification, or in a digest email on your schedule.
Make as many as you need.
Saving
Everything else worth coming back to.
Not everything arrives in a feed. Save any link — from your iPhone’s share sheet or right from the browser — and it waits in Read later, cleaned up and comfortable to read. The original is never more than a tap away.
Returning
Where you left it, on whichever device you left it.
Star it, save it, highlight it — everything you keep is easy to find again, and a highlight reopens at the exact sentence, with your note if you left one. Start a long read on your phone, and your browser picks up at the same paragraph.
Search reaches all of it — full text, not just titles — and Read later comes with you offline.
Keyboard
The shortcuts you already know.
j and k, space, m,
s, the g chords, / for search,
? for the rest — the canon, unchanged. ⌘K
jumps to any source from anywhere. And nothing becomes read because you
scrolled past it.
Your apps
Bring the reader app you already like.
Currentfold speaks the sync protocol reader apps have shared for years, so a favorite client can read the same account — sources, read state and stars, all in step. One app password per app, revocable any time.
Privacy
No analytics. No trackers. No advertising.
This page loaded nothing from anyone else — no third-party scripts, no cookies, no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
The reader is built the same way. Your account holds an email address and your reading, because that is what a reader is made of — and it is not sold, and not shared.
Everything you keep downloads as one file, and the account deletes from its own settings — no message to us, no waiting. Read the privacy policy.
On your iPhone
The same reader, in your pocket.
A real iPhone app — quick, quiet, and at home on the platform. Star, save and mark read with a swipe, share into it from any app, and pick up wherever you left off.
It is not on the App Store yet. When it is, the link will be here.
Start reading.
Create an account, bring your subscriptions or start with a single site, and the reader is yours.
